Elfen Lied’s protagonist/anti-heroine Lucy is the primary character. She has three distinct personalities as a result of prior events or situations. Lucy, Nyu, and Kaede are the three. Her hair will occasionally obscure one of her eyes, generally when she is in a strong mood (Lucy). Nyu, despite her innocence, possessed a basic sense of good and evil, similar to that of a small kid. She was a sweet, innocent, and naive young lady with a strong sexual curiosity that made her housemates’ lives difficult.
