Envy’s Father condensed his jealousy from his body into a Philosopher’s Stone, which he utilized as Envy’s core, resulting in the fourth Homunculus, Envy. It’s worth noting that, while it’s not beyond bickering with her, Envy gets along swimmingly with Lust, and is enraged by her death.
