Kaname is a calm, elegant, stoic, and authoritative person in general. With Yuki Cross, though, he transforms into a completely different person; to her, Kaname is very compassionate and warm. This attitude irritates the Night Class vampires, who at first don’t understand why he favors her. Yuki is perplexed as to why Kaname is so concerned about her. Because of Yuki’s closeness to him, Kaname occasionally exhibits envy towards Zero Kiryu, and he is not ashamed to show it to Yuki.
